History

Over the years, Con-way has crossed several milestones. In 1990, the company formed Menlo Logistics. Menlo Logistics is a billion dollar company that provides management of inventory, warehouse and transportation along with full integration of links in the supply chain via customized systems and software. By the end of 1996, Consolidated Freightways formed two separate publicly traded companies, and named the offshoot CNF Transportation Inc. By 1999, CNF became the market leader in their segment. In 2000, CNF partnered with GM to create a supply chain management company for the automotive industry, Vector SCM. In December 2001, CNF combined all the segments under one roof called Menlo Worldwide SM, for providing an extensive array of global services. In 2004, United Parcel Service of America took over Menlo Worldwide SM. Since April 2006, CNF has been officially known as Con-way
